Please be aware that unfortunately there are many suppliers out there that data-scrape show websites and contact exhibitors posing as show partners or official contractors, in particular Construct Data Verlag and GDATALIST.COM. Other companies include:

• Hotel agencies
• Show guide companies – such as Expo-Guide, Fair Guide & International Fairs Directory
• Companies selling services such as: stand staffing, AV, stand build services & graphics.

Some companies claim to provide services to exhibitors at events. Some companies claim to have show data, such as visitor lists, for sale. We have a set list of trusted suppliers that we work with and we do NOT share our data with any other organisations. (If you would like more information about our privacy policy, please click here.)

We would like to remind all our exhibitors to be vigilant. These companies are not official suppliers to any show organised by Hale Events Ltd. If any such company contacts you, claiming to be working with any of our shows, we would suggest that you do not progress the conversation any further, and that you contact us immediately to let us know. Such misleading mailings, faxes and emails do not come from the organisers and could cost you money!

Expo-Guide and, for example, claim to provide services to exhibitors at events. Both companies use a misleading form, which resembles an organiser’s Free Catalogue Listing Service, inviting exhibitors to sign and return the form for an entry in an on-line directory. Doing so can contract the purchaser into a three-year, non-retractable agreement. Non-payment is then followed by aggressive debt collecting by recovery firms.

DO NOT sign anything without reading the small print.

You can find further information about such industry scams on the Association of Event Organisers website, including advice about what to do if you fall victim to one of these frauds.

Again, if you have any concerns about the legitimacy of suppliers who get in touch with you, please feel free to contact us at any time, by email at or by calling 01934 733433.
