The second Food and Drink Trade Show took place at The Centaur, Cheltenham Racecourse, last week. This new venue proved to be very successful with exhibitors and visitors alike. With all the facilities that a growing trade show needs, including free parking, the show will be definitely be back there in 2015.
Also guaranteed to be back in 2015 is the new Target Catering Equipment Demo Kitchen. Located right in the centre of the hall, regular demos throughout the show ensured that there was plenty to watch and listen to, as well as smell and taste! The audience was entertained by chefs such as TV Chef James Strawbridge, from the Posh Pasty Co, as well as students from Gloucestershire College.
“This was my first trade show as an exhibitor (a newcomer), and it was smoothly organised in a great venue with some great contacts made during the two days“ Cathryn Zielinski, Simply Seedz.
The whole of the speciality food & drink market was represented at the show, from cheese to cider, crisps to cake, chocolate to coffee, and much much more! Buyers attended from outlets such as Selfridges, Whole Food Markets, Tesco, Waitrose, @Bristol, Cheltenham Ladies College, Daylesford Organic, The Garden Centre Group, and a cross section of farm shops, supermarkets, delicatessens, caterers, public houses, hotels, restaurants and garden centres.
Hale Events, who organise the show, are already making plans for 2015, and following up on all the feedback received. There will be more information about The Food & Drink Trade Show 2015 soon!
