Strong early momentum builds for Source Roadshow 2027

The Source Roadshow is already showing strong momentum for 2027, with a number of leading foodservice suppliers and Somerset-based businesses confirming their return to the one-day trade event at the Bath & West Showground.

Taking place on Wednesday 24 February 2027, the trade-only event is designed to connect food, drink, hospitality and retail buyers with a carefully curated mix of suppliers, producers and support services from across the South West.

A notable feature of early bookings is the strength of the foodservice sector, with returning exhibitors including Arthur David, Four Seasons, Hunts Food Group, Fine Food Company, R D Johns, and Westcountry Foodservice. The addition of Savona, new to the show for 2027, further reinforces the Roadshow’s growing appeal as a meeting point for the regional supply chain.

Alongside these larger operators, the event continues to attract strong support from within Somerset’s own food and drink community. Early rebookers include Aspen Maintenance Services, Barber’s Farmhouse Cheesemakers, Little Jack’s Sausage Rolls, Somerset Spirit Co, Somerset Grill Co, and Wyke Farms – highlighting the blend of national supply and local provenance that defines the show.

The Source Roadshow was launched to provide a focused, accessible platform for businesses across the South West to connect, with a particular emphasis on practical outcomes, leads, meaningful conversations, and sales. Rather than a large-scale multi-day exhibition, the Roadshow format enables visitors and exhibitors to engage efficiently – meeting multiple contacts, exploring new opportunities, and addressing key commercial challenges within a single day.

In addition to food and drink, the exhibitor mix includes equipment providers, technology companies, and specialist business services, reflecting the full range of needs within hospitality and retail operations.

Mike Anderson, Managing Director of Hale Events, commented: “The early response for 2027 has been very encouraging. What’s particularly positive is seeing both major foodservice operators and Somerset-based producers committing early – that balance is what gives the Roadshow its value.

It’s not just about showcasing products; it’s about bringing together businesses that can genuinely help each other – whether that’s through supply, ideas, or practical support for the year ahead.

With more than 100 exhibitors expected and free entry for trade visitors, the Source Roadshow continues to establish itself as an important date in the South West food and drink calendar.

Exhibitor bookings are now open, with a limited number of stand options available for businesses looking to reach buyers across Somerset and the wider region. Information about exhibiting is available from James Curtis or Paul Thomas, on 01934 733433, or by emailing [email protected].
