Mike Anderson

Mike Anderson – Managing Director

Mike has been with Hale Events since 1993 and has more than 30 years’ experience launching, organising and managing exhibitions.

He has been integral to company growth, and manages the development of events. He develops strong strategic market relationships, collaborations and partnerships all over the UK, with a particular focus on the South West region.

Paul Thomas

Paul Thomas – Sales Manager

Paul oversees the sale of stands and show advertising at all of Hale’s trade shows, and their Rise & Shine hospitality newsletter.

He has worked for Hale Events since 1999 and brings a mix of honesty, tenacity and strong customer focus to his role.

James Curtis

James Curtis – Sales Executive

James joined Hale Events in 2007 and has had a diverse career including hot air balloon management and estate agency.

He sells stands at Hale’s shows, has an in-depth knowledge of food producers in the South West, and has great people and communication skills.

Zach Anderson

Zach Anderson – Sales Executive

Zach joined Hale Events in Autumn 2024. He sells stands at Hale’s food and drink shows, and brings enthusiasm, tenacity and fun to his role.

He is a lead singer in a band, a serial creator of music, and he loves to socialise.

Jay Trotman

Jay Trotman – Marketing Manager

Jay works with Hale to deliver their marketing and deals with advertising, publicity, press relations, social media and the on-line presence of Hale Events’ shows.

Oliver Pointer-Jones

Oliver Pointer-Jones – Social Media & Content Associate

Oliver works with Jay, creating and delivering social media content across all Hale’s channels.

He’s currently studying Marketing at Bath Spa University, and enjoys playing rugby in his spare time.

Rebecca Thomas – Operations & Office Manager

Not only is Rebecca responsible for running Hale’s administration, she is also responsible for the operational management of all aspects of their trade shows. Rebecca connects the vital information that ensures the smooth running of Hales’ shows.

Nina Mitchell

Nina Mitchell – Editor, Office & Accounts

Nina is the Editor of Hale’s digital newsletter; Rise & Shine. She is also Hale’s accounts and administration support.

She brings her multiple skills to Hale with a varied and colourful CV which includes working as a chef and organising cookery schools in South Africa.
