Hospitality event organisers Hale Events have today announced their plans for a new media platform for the trade in partnership with Lifestyle Media House, publishers of Menu Dorset and Menu Hampshire magazines. Aptly named “Bread & Butter”, this new platform will include both print and digital channels and be the only hospitality trade media dedicated to the South & South West.
It has never been more important to keep up to date with industry trends, news and the latest insight from key industry movers and shakers. Bread & Butter will deliver that in a quick and easy digital format, to suit hectic schedules, and then in greater depth, across their website and quarterly print title.
Bread and Butter will work in partnership with clients to engage their business with the key sectors of the industry or individuals they want to reach. Launching to over 22,000 named industry professionals across the South and South West, the platform will immediately bring engaging content to a substantial and quality audience from its launch on May 16th 2016.
Mike Anderson of Hale Events stated “Since Lifestyle Media approached us we have been excited to get this new media channel up and running and to further our support to the hospitality industry in the South West and South. With such a vibrant hospitality market in the region coupled with the strength of this partnership we feel confident that Bread & Butter will become a key communication channel for the industry”.
Lee Worsley from Lifestyle Media House commented “During the past year through the launches of our Menu titles we have been asked on numerous occasions for a trade title that would be informative, relevant, but most importantly, focused on a region where hospitality forms such a major part of the economy. We have also developed a close working relationship with Hale Events and partnering on this project makes complete sense with the synergy of our mutual core skills and resources”.
As a multi-media platform Bread & Butter will launch at 7:00am on Monday May 16th with “Rise & Shine”, a weekly email, with bite-size essential news, influential opinions and the latest trends. This will followed by the namesake “Bread & Butter” quarterly print magazine in July 2016, delivering in-depth reporting and insightful analysis that gets to the heart of the trends affecting your industry. Future plans include “The Week”, a Friday email reflecting on the week and bringing the key news from the past 7 days in digital format, and “Breaking News” email bulletins providing the important stories that affect the hospitality industry as and when they happen.
